Albert Buckles, MBA, MSS, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Youth Athletic Improvement. He is a native of Austin, Texas and has had sports as a part of his life since birth. Albert has participated in sports at all levels through (and including) college Division-I. His specialty and expertise is basketball, but he has played football, baseball, and track & field. Albert’s experiences as an athlete, coach, referee, and recruiter enable him to give back to the youth of the surrounding communities through Youth Athletic Improvement. Albert brings together the professionalism, expertise, experience, passion and strategic vision which is necessary to improving youth athletes’ skill level and preparation for athletic success.
In addition to his extensive real-world background, Albert has earned his Master of Sports Science degree from the United States Sports Academy (2003); an MBA from Webster University (1997); and a Bachelor of Science-Business Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (1993). Mr. Buckles has taken this wealth of knowledge and incorporated it into his many career successes.
Albert has accomplished a successful athletic background as a student-athlete including participation in college basketball at the Divisions I, II, and junior college levels. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Mr. Buckles plans to continue his growth and development (professionally and personally) by surrounding himself with successful people and providing Youth Athletic Improvement with the strategic leadership that necessitates and ensures success! In addition, Mr. Buckles desires to give his wealth of knowledge back to the youth of our surrounding communities so that they may be better prepared for the demands of athletic sports activities and life itself.
